Black History is American History.
This month, as we reflect on the advancements made by African American pioneers such as Rosa Parks, Shirley Chisholm, Jackie Robinson, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou, Jesse Owens, and so many more — we also wish to acknowledge the new generation of leaders who are redefining what it means to be African American today.
We're creating a new series called Spread the Love that honors this group of creators and innovators who are unapologetically living their lives with love and abundance. They are taking up the space that theydeserve and filling it with ideas and artwork that evoke positive change. We're choosing to reflect on the resiliency of the past, while also celebrating the present and looking forward to the many possibilities of the future.
